The Central Creative team uses their technical and creative skills to tell the story of what God is doing in and through Central Church. We use video, photography, graphic design and social media to support worship services, promote events and activities, and to minister to our people and our surrounding community.

Overview
The Digital Storyteller serves as the “face” of the church across digital platforms. This role is about being in front of the camera—sharing stories, highlighting upcoming events, introducing initiatives, and creating a warm, welcoming presence that reflects the church’s mission. Think of this as a modern-day storyteller: someone who helps our community see and feel the heartbeat of our church.

Responsibilities

  • Appear on camera for Reels, Stories, livestreams, and promotional videos.

  • Enthusiastically present upcoming events, ministries, and community initiatives.

  • Share behind-the-scenes moments that give people a sense of connection.

  • Collaborate with pastors, ministry leaders, and the media team to deliver timely and accurate messages.

  • Engage with the congregation online by bringing personality, authenticity, and joy to all content.

  • Represent the church’s voice and values with creativity and approachability.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable speaking and presenting on camera.

  • Outgoing, personable, and passionate about connecting with people.

  • Strong communication skills with a natural, friendly presence.

  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (or willingness to learn quickly).

  • A genuine love for ministry and a heart to share the church’s mission in fresh ways.

Manage and respond to messages, comments, and prayer requests across social media platforms with care, compassion, and professionalism. Guide individuals to resources, answer questions, and help create a welcoming online presence that reflects our church’s mission and values.

  • Provide compassionate support and direct people to appropriate ministries or resources.
  • Maintain a positive, faith-centered tone in all communications.

Do you love capturing moments and turning them into powerful, short videos that inspire and encourage? We’re looking for a creative, tech-savvy storyteller to join our media team as the Reels & Stories Coordinator! This role is all about bringing our ministry to life online—through Instagram Reels, Stories, and other short-form video content that reaches people right where they are.

Responsibilities

  • Capture authentic church moments—worship, community, testimonies, behind-the-scenes life—and turn them into engaging Reels & Stories.
  • Edit and design videos that are visually striking, creative, and spiritually uplifting.
  • Plan, schedule, and post content that grows our online community and spreads the gospel.
  • Stay on top of the latest social trends and bring fresh ideas to keep our content relevant and fun.
  • Work closely with the Media Team Lead and ministry leaders to highlight events, ministries, and messages.
 

Qualifications:

  • A natural storyteller with video editing and social media skills
  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented, but also flexible and fun.
  • Passionate about faith, people, and using media to make an impact.
