Worship Team Modern Services

 Commitment: Weekly rehearsals, Sunday services, and scheduled special events

Intro: The Worship Leader leads the congregation into God’s presence through Spirit-led worship, cultivating an atmosphere of praise and encounter.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and prepare worship songs in prayer and alignment with vision
  • Lead rehearsals with band and vocalists
  • Lead the congregation in worship with confidence and humility
  • Mentor and disciple team members
  • Partner with pastors and leadership for service flow

Qualifications:
  • Strong vocal and/or instrumental ability
  • Leadership and spiritual maturity
  • Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading
  • Ability to engage and lead a congregation

Intro:
The Vocal Team Leader equips, organizes, and encourages singers to use their gifts in worship. This role focuses on fostering excellence in vocal preparation while creating a spiritually uplifting environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead vocal warmups and sectional rehearsals
  • Ensure vocal blend, harmony, and tone quality
  • Mentor team members in vocal technique and worship leading
  • Partner with Worship Leader and Band Director for song arrangements
  • Pray with and encourage team members

  • Commitment to spiritual growth and worship ministry vision
  • Team player with humility and flexibility

(Piano/keyboard, drums, guitars, bass, strings). Use your voice or instrument to lead our church family in worship during Sunday services. Audition required.

Commitment: Pray regularly for worship ministry; attend worship services and pre-service prayer

Intro: The Prayer Team intercedes for the worship ministry, covering leaders, team members, and the congregation in prayer.

Responsibilities:

  • Pray regularly for worship leaders, musicians, and volunteers
  • Attend pre-service prayer gatherings
  • Support the team with encouragement and spiritual covering
  • Be available for prayer needs during services

Production Team for Modern Services (Audiovisual)

Intro: The ProPresenter Leader ensures that lyrics, scripture, and media elements are displayed with excellence, helping the congregation fully engage in worship.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate ProPresenter during services
  • Prepare slides and media before rehearsals
  • Ensure smooth transitions between lyrics and media
  • Troubleshoot presentation issues quickly
  • Coordinate with Worship Leader and Tech Team

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ProPresenter software
  • Attention to detail and ability to anticipate transitions
  • Ability to focus under pressure

Ministry Position: Lighting Specialist

Intro: The Lighting Specialist uses creativity and technical skill to enhance worship through thoughtful and intentional lighting design.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate lighting console during rehearsals and services
  • Create lighting cues that match worship flow
  • Ensure proper stage visibility
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lighting equipment
  • Collaborate with worship and production teams

Ministry Position: Stage Music Director

Intro: The Stage Music Director provides real-time direction to the band and vocalists during worship, ensuring a unified and Spirit-led sound.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead transitions, cues, and arrangements on stage
  • Support the Worship Leader by directing band dynamics
  • Communicate song structure and flow during live worship
  • Work with musicians on parts during rehearsals
  • Create an atmosphere of excellence and worship

Intro: The Online Sound Engineer ensures that the livestream audio is excellent and engaging, creating an environment of worship for those joining online.

Responsibilities:

  • Mix audio specifically for livestream broadcast
  • Monitor sound quality throughout the service
  • Adjust levels for clarity between spoken word and music
  • Coordinate with in-person sound engineer
  • Assist with recording and archiving services

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of livestream and audio mixing software
  • Technical proficiency with digital soundboards
  • Passion for helping people worship online

Intro: The Sound Engineer ensures clear, balanced, and distraction-free sound for in-person worship services.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the soundboard during rehearsals and services
  • Balance instruments, vocals, and media elements
  • Manage microphones, monitors, and stage sound needs
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly
  • Work with worship leaders to maintain sound excellence
 

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with sound systems and mixing
  • Attention to detail and good listening skills
  • Problem-solving under pressure
  • Heart for worship and serving
 

Assist worship by advancing slides with lyrics in time with the music and sermon and play videos as necessary. Lighting technician: Run the lighting cues. No experience necessary – we will teach you.

Run the sound board to ensure proper audio levels. No experience necessary – we will teach you.

Edit video of service for posting online. No experience necessary – we will teach you.

Video Directors produce the modern services livestream by directing camera operators and slides operator and live switching between each with the goal of communicating a compelling story of worship and teaching. No experience necessary – we will teach you.

Depending on role within the camera team, produce the key shots for the Video director to mix to ensure online audiences experience the Modern worship service in full. No experience necessary – we will teach you.

Worship Team Classic Service

(piano or guitar): Support the worship service while playing your favorite instrument. Audition required.

Lead worship through prayer and announcing hymn numbers. Vocal talent welcome but not required.

Assist worship by advancing slides with lyrics in time with the music and sermon and play videos as necessary. Training provided.

Play the bells in our bell choir for Classic service and special event performances. No experience necessary—we will teach you.
