The best nights of the week to be here as a Student are our Tuesdays. Breakaway Youth Nights happen from 7-9PM each week during the school year, and we always have a blast. We start off with a snack downstairs in our Hangout Room and bring in the night with an exciting game in our gym. It could be games from Dodgeball, to Knockout, to our Breakaway classic 3-Ball! Then, we worship God together with our Student band, bringing our praises before our Savior together! You’ll hear an amazing and applicable message from one of our leaders before we split into our small groups to process the truth we’ve learned together. Breakaway nights are all about building community together and learning more about how the Gospel impacts our lives from the inside out. All students from 6th-12th grade are invited to attend, and trust me, you’ll want to swing by. Our Breakaway Leaders will help guide you through the night and process all the amazing things you’ll learn along the way. We hope to see you there! If you’re a student or parent with any questions, email the Director of Student Ministries at [email protected] to chat.
Every Sunday Morning from 9:30-10:30AM our students meet in our hangout room downstairs in our Student Ministry Wing for our Life Groups! We start off with donuts each week as we check-in with each other and greet the people around us. Then, we are led in a fun icebreaker group game to kick off our morning together! Come and participate in our study of the Bible within our small groups, led by one of our Group Leaders. Our curriculum will walk Students chapter by chapter each week through books like Romans, Ephesians, and many more. How do these books affect our understanding of the Gospel and change how we live in the world around us? Join us on Sundays to find out! We would love to have you with us. Students will be dismissed into our Fellowship Mall at 10:30AM to be picked up by their parents following the service. Our Sunday Student Life Groups happen weekly during our school year and break during the summer months and Christmas break.
Our adult leaders serve our students faithfully and are committed to building relationships with our teenagers, so they truly understand that they are not alone in “figuring it all out.” When you come to Breakaway, you can be sure to be welcomed in by one of these passionate volunteers, excited to get to know you! Breakaway exists to ensure that all students feel welcomed, and known, and deeply loved.
